The “Qualité de Vie et Santé Psychologique” team (Quality of Life and Psychological Health - QualiPsy) is based in the Psychology Department of Tours University (l’UFR Arts et Sciences humaines de l’Université de Tours).  It is also associated with the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Val de Loire (MSH-VdL). Its members include teacher-researchers in occupational psychology, clinical psychology and psychopathology, and in the health field. Its scientific expertise includes factor analysis (individual, group, organisational and environmental), mechanisms and consequences (personal, group and organisational), and impairment vs optimisation of the quality of life and psychological health of adults in the general population and in specific situations (e.g. work, illness, situations of vulnerability).

In this field of study, psychological health is not defined solely by the absence of pathology, but is related to a state of physical, mental and social health.
